The single most consequential arrival is London's longtime celebrity Italian restaurant Signor Sassi, which quietly began serving its first U.S. plates in mid‑March at its first North American location. The address is 1006 East Hallandale Beach Boulevard, inside the Oasis mixed-use project.
Two details matter for anyone booking a table. First, the room is genuinely large for a restaurant of this pedigree. The indoor dining room seats 200, with an additional 25 seats outdoors, which means the reservation squeeze that follows a splashy South Florida opening is less acute here than it would be at a boutique-sized room. Second, the operating pedigree is real. The new restaurant is led by Victorem Hospitality Group in co-management with the UK's San Carlo Restaurants Group, and San Carlo operates 28 UK restaurants and a growing international portfolio.
The design is worth noting because it explains why the room reads differently from Aventura's Italian benchmarks. The 200-seat space was designed by London firm Fettle. The interiors draw on the architecture of Venice, including the work of Carlo Scarpa, and are influenced by South Florida's Art Deco style. One quiet piece of good news for planning. Miami Spice Restaurant Months run August 1 through September 30, 2026, which means the last three weeks of Hallandale Eats overlap Miami Spice. Residents who want to trade a Hallandale night for an Aventura or Sunny Isles reservation still have the option, and the two calendars together give you nearly two months of tasting-menu pricing without leaving the immediate area.
What's Already Anchoring The Gulfstream Village Walk
Hallandale Eats is the promotional wrapper. The walking radius around Gulfstream Park is the year-round infrastructure. - International Coastal Cleanup, third Saturday in September at South City Beach Park. The City of Hallandale Beach joins Broward County to participate in the annual International Coastal Cleanup, sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy, on the 3rd Saturday of September from 9 a.m. to noon, with free parking for volunteers during the Cleanup.
